one of eight National Primate Research Centers funded by the National Center
for Research Resources, a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The centers breed nonhuman primates for laboratories and universities engaged
in NIH-sponsored research. The centers also supply nonhuman primate blood
samples, organs and biological fluids. WaNPRC also operates breeding colonies
in Indonesia.
